Briefs stay in this browser until you choose to share.

The brief tool keeps names, reply addresses and free-text notes in page memory by default. Generating, copying or downloading a document does not submit it to Fred Textile. This tool has no online enquiry submission service.

Optional storage in this tab.

If you select the option to keep a draft in this tab, the tool stores the form locally in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes. It removes that stored draft when it expires, when you clear the brief or when you successfully copy or download it. Language changes in the same tab can restore the draft. Browser restrictions or tab restoration behaviour may affect storage.

Direction preferences.

Non-personal pattern-guide selections can be saved locally for up to 30 days. Clear local selections with the clear button. The current build uses this only for stable guide identifiers; free-text project details are excluded.

External communication services.

Email, WhatsApp and the Fred Textile contact page open only when you choose the action. Your use of those services is subject to their own policies. Copy the brief and paste it yourself into the message you decide to send.

Hosting and WordPress records.

The hosting service may record ordinary web request information, and WordPress uses its administrative cookies for signed-in operators. Those records are separate from this local brief tool. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a fabric enquiry.

Website analytics.

This website uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-MYM65RQGXM to understand visits and page use. The Google tag can process browsing, device and analytics-cookie information under Google’s policies. The website does not add names, reply email addresses or free-text brief fields to custom analytics events. Analytics is separate from the brief tool’s local draft storage.
